Watercolours of character.
In so doing Heuwinkel has underlined the special character of the landscape with which he came into contact in a fomal manner, distilling its bare essentials to a minimum so that we can relate the genesis of any individual watercolour to Malta, Lanzarote and even in a couple of occsions to the glacier formations in Iceland.
