– prozesshafte Bilder
entstehen im Laufe der Ausstellung.

Wolfgang Heuwinkel’s objects and installations show the origin of paper from the wood, circle in different variations the stages of development from wood to paper, the production processes of a natural product to an artistic material, that is linked by placement in certain spaces or certain sculptural forms to its origin. This reflection of material is complemented by the confrontation with colour, which is not applied by painting on the paper, but enters the material on its own – processual works develop during the exhibition.
